The Hemerly family established the MAZ brand in 1990 and the brand was inspired by the notion: “Freedom is your trademark”. The collection, ranging from the design of the materials, the simplicity, and the comfort to the amazing colors spread the spirit of the brand – Freedom the collections, from the designs throw the materials the simplicity and the amazing comfort to its unique Variety of colors represents the spirit of the brand - Freedom

    After a thorough brand analysis, our goal was to create an established, forward-thinking, and repositioning into the local Japanese market that sets MAZ apart from other sneakers in a highly competitive space. To differentiate, it was clear that we needed to redesign and still embraced the brand value by adopting those three key elements, The brand focuses on the true project’s potential while highlighting strengths and creating a solution that represents the ideas and the spirit of freedom to choose will awaken your creativity and self-expression.
